I practice and teach yoga because I seek peace
— peace within myself and peace within and between all beings. I believe that a peaceful mind is a joyful mind and a peaceful world is a joyful one. To me, practicing as well as teaching yoga is as an act of service, which I enjoy with every part of my being.
I teach what I practice myself -
asana, Pranayama, meditation.
I consider this a simple yet essential concept. I support my students with all my heart and the tools that I have learned from my teachers and through self-practice to create a space, where everyone finds trust in themselves to lean into the practice - to lean in to peace.

My classes include a strong and disciplined asana practice paired with some sprinkles of yoga philosophy, a meditation practice and deep relaxation. I offer options and variations to keep classes at an open level, so that they are accessible yet challenging for students with all levels of experience.
I completed my first teacher training in October 2022 with Love and All Is Coming, led by Talia Sutra & Tony Lupinacci, who I am eternally grateful for sharing their all their knowledge and wisdom so authentically and openly. Talia and Tony had a powerful influence on how I see the world and the practice of Yoga within it.

In October 2023 I completed the Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior Training at Peace Yoga Berlin led by Moritz Ulrich and Niklas Noack. The sequence is a fixed and well-rounded 60-min Vinyasa class, incl. a warmup, standing asanas, forward bends, back bends, inversions and a meditation practice. The Jivamukti method (which consists of a lot more than the SW sequence) has and keeps shaping my practice through the traditional, structured and community-centered approach to teaching yoga and especially through all the incredible teachers and students I have met and get to practice with.

A Jivamukti Yoga class is built around the five tenets of the method: ahimsa (kindness), asana (seat or connection to Earth), bhakti (devotion), shastra (scriptural study) and nada (sound). You mindfully move through dynamic, breath-led vinyasa sequences as well as moments of stillness and steady holds. In each class you will chant, receive philosophical input, meditate and relax deeply after practice.
